Cooking Spaghetti

Spaghetti is long and thin pasta of Italian origin. The easiest way of cooking spaghetti is adding a variety of dishes on it, such as cheese and pepper or garlic and tomato, meat, and other sauces. However, today I will introduce some special recopies of cooking spaghetti.

Spaghetti Pizza

The first dish is Spaghetti Pizza, which is one of those quick and easy dinner recipes you can make just from what you have in the pantry. The toppings for spaghetti pizza are black olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, green peppers and red onions.

Ingredients:
- 1 pound dried spaghetti or angel hair pasta
- 2 28 oz. jars garden vegetable spaghetti sauce
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning (basil, oregano, garlic powder, parsley)
- 2 cups smoked mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional).

Instructions:
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13 glass baking dish with cooking spray. Then, cook spaghetti according to package directions, but make sure to shorten the cooking time by 2 minutes. Next, mix in a very large bowl the spaghetti sauce, egg, milk and Italian seasonings. Add the cooked spaghetti and stir to coat well and Pour spaghetti mixture into prepared pan. Now top with shredded mozzarella, and pepperoni and black olives. Bake 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting.

Spaghetti With Meatballs

Next dish is spaghetti with meatballs. You’ll need a pound of spaghetti, good marinara sauce, and the meatballs.

Ingredients:
- an inch-thick (2.5 cm) slice of bread, milk
- 1 1/2 pounds of ground meat
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- a small clove of garlic, chopped
- 3 tablespoons minced parsley
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmigiano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, a dried hot pepper
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest from an organically grown lemon and salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions:
First, steep the bread in milk to cover for 5 minutes, and then squeeze the excess liquid from the bread. Meanwhile, sauté the minced onion until golden in a tablespoon of the butter. Then, put the ground meat in a mixing bowl, crumble the bread over it, and add the remaining ingredients except the butter. Mix well and shape the mixture into balls about 1 1/2 inches (3.75 cm) in diameter. Preheat your oven to 350 F and heat the remaining butter in a pot and gently brown the meatballs on all sides and add enough marinara sauce to cover the meatballs and bake them for a half hour. While they’re cooking, bring pasta water to a boil and cook your spaghetti. Drain the pasta, season it with the sauce, and serve it with grated cheese.
