How to Bake Salmon
Baked Salmon is a very nutritious dish, and is very easy to make as well. This dish need not be very elaborate; in fact, you can make a delicious baked salmon using only olive oil and lemon.
Ingredients:
- Four medium Salmon fillets, descaled
- One lemon
- Carrots, finely sliced
- Leeks, finely sliced
- Dry white wine
- Butter, both melted and solid
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
- Put the carrots and leeks in a saucepan and cook them in butter for about 5-10 minutes. After they have been cooked, spread half of them out on four foil sheets. Now place the salmon fillets on the vegetables. Take the remainder of the cooked carrots and leeks, and spread them on top of the salmon fillets.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, lemon juice, and dry white wine over each of the salmon fillets. Preheat your oven at a temperature of about 200 degrees F.
- Now fold the foil sheets in a way that the salmon fillets get completely packed inside them. Place these fillets packed in aluminum foil on the baking tray. Bake the fillets for about 10 minutes, or till the time the foil sheets puff up a little.
- Once the fillers have been baked, you can serve the baked salmon as it is, so that the aroma and flavor of the fish remains intact.
