Smoothies are a very refreshing drink, and an absolute must-have during the summer months. It’s extremely simple to make, and contrary to popular notion, does not require too many ingredients to prepare.
- Two bananas, sliced
- 1½ cup vanilla yogurt
- ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup crushed ice
- In a blender, first pour the honey, vanilla extract, sliced bananas, vanilla yogurt, and then the crushed ice.
- Start blending the ingredients together at a normal speed. But then, start increasing the speed of the blender steadily so that the ingredients get blended into a smooth mix.
- Pour the mixture into glasses. Serve the banana smoothie chilled.
