How to Make a Banana Smoothie

Smoothies are a very refreshing drink, and an absolute must-have during the summer months. It’s extremely simple to make, and contrary to popular notion, does not require too many ingredients to prepare.

Ingredients:

  • Two bananas, sliced
  • 1½ cup vanilla yogurt
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup crushed ice

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, first pour the honey, vanilla extract, sliced bananas, vanilla yogurt, and then the crushed ice.
  2. Start blending the ingredients together at a normal speed. But then, start increasing the speed of the blender steadily so that the ingredients get blended into a smooth mix.
  3. Pour the mixture into glasses. Serve the banana smoothie chilled.
