The crab artichoke dip is a delicacy usually found in restaurants and in some instances, readily made in some deli shops. As it is an inviting dip, one can introduce to their family and friends without having to spend much and be able to prepare it in their homes.
Ingredients:
- 14 ounces or a can of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 7 ounces or a can of crab meat, drained
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 10 ounces or 2 and a half cups of grated parmesan cheese
- 1 quarter teaspoon of hot pepper sauce
- Some chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius.
- In a bowl, combine the artichokes, crab meat, cheese, mayonnaise and hot pepper sauce.
- Spoon the mixture in to a 4 cup shallow baking dish or individual ramekins.
- Bake in the oven for approximately 25 minutes or until bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley if you like.
This dip will go great with crackers, though you may also opt to substitute it with chips or any other food item you feel would go greatly with the rich flavors of the dip.
