How to Make a Nacho Dish

This is a famous Mexican main dish or appetizer recipe that can certainly satisfy a lot of people. This is not just about the chips and cheese that are found in the dish itself, there are a variety of flavors in it that make this a very popular snack among a lot of people.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons of chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 small can of refried beans
  • 1 10 or 20-ounce of tortilla chips
  • 1¼ pounds of grated Monterey Jack or Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 6-ounce can of black olives, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the beef mixture by cooking the ground beef until it turns brown and then mix in the salt, cumin, and chili powder.
  2. Get a plate and then pour some of the refried beans which will serve as the cushion of your chips.
  3. Spread some of the chips above the beans to create another layer.
  4. Add the ground beef, olives, tomato, onion and cheese to serve as toppings.
  5. Keep adding the ingredients mentioned from steps 2 – 4 until all are already used up.
  6. Lastly, you can microwave it for about 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
