How to Make a Queso Dip

You have not experienced authentic Tex-Mex snacks without a good bowl of Queso dip. You need not go far just to be able to enjoy it for yourself or with friends and family. You can actually make this on your own, in the comforts of your home. All the ingredients listed can be found in any local grocery store while some of them may already be in your kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • 11 ounces or one can of cheddar cheese soup
  • A quarter pound of grated American cheese
  • 7 and a half ounces or half a can of Jalapeno pepper relish
  • A teaspoon of chili powder
  • A teaspoon of cumin
  • A tablespoon of catsup

Instructions:

  1. On the top layer of a double broiler, combine all the ingredients together.
  2. Cook with constant stirring until the mixture is well blended.
  3. When the desired consistency has been reached, serve warm in individual bowls with a side of chips or bread.

This will make a great comfort food during cool days, and for those enjoy extra spice in their food, they can use cayenne pepper or add some more chili powder to give the dish an extra kick.
