Sangria is a red wine punch that originated in Spain. However, it is popular all over the world. Apart from being served at parties, it is also served alongside food, especially Mexican food. Here is a simple recipe to prepare Sangria punch.
- One apple, cored and cut into pieces
- One orange
- One bottle of red wine
- One cup club soda
- ¼ cup sugar
- Two cups orange juice
- ½ cup Cointreau
- Take a large pitcher and pour red wine into it. Add orange juice, club soda, sugar, and Cointreau into the pitcher. Stir the mixture till all the sugar gets dissolved completely.
- Slice the orange and add them to the mixture, along with the apple pieces. Now place the pitcher inside the refrigerator for about an hour.
Serve chilled along with ice cubes.
