How to Make a Spinach-Artichoke Dip

The Spinach Artichoke dip is cheesy and delectable dip. Most people loathe spinach and artichoke, but they make a surprisingly great-tasting dip! This recipe is perfect for nachos and chips, and as a side dish with vegetables or soup. You can even make it ahead of time and refrigerate it a day before, or you can serve it right out from the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounce cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach (drained and chopped)
  • 1 can artichoke hearts (drained and chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1/4 cup Romano cheese (grated)
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 clove garlic, (minced)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease slightly the casserole dish.
  2. Combine the spinach, artichoke, garlic, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and Romano cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Blend with a blender or processor.
  3. Spread the mixture into a casserole dish. Top with Parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake for at least 20 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese has become slightly browned.
  5. Remove from oven. Serve with tortilla or ranch chips.
