This savory, candy-like delight is marinated in sweet honey, soy sauce and garlic making it a favorite only by the kids but also kids-at-heart.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups honey
- 6 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 pounds chicken wings
Instructions:
- Boil in a saucepan the honey, soy sauce and garlic.
- Meanwhile, place the chicken wings on a baking pan (preferred size: 9 x 13 inches). When the honey sauce boils, pour into the baking dish covering well the chicken wings. Cover these with foil and let it stand for a few hours (or overnight, if preferred) to marinate the wings.
- In a preheated oven (375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celcius), bake the chicken wings. After an hour of baking, turn the wings and bake again for ½ hour. Remove the dish from the oven and take off the foil. Remove the chicken wings from the sauce and replace into the oven on a rack. Bake these for 10 minutes. Turn the chicken wings and bake again for another 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
This recipe makes 4 servings.
Note:
Make sure you boil the sauce for a few minutes to kill off any bacteria.
