How to Make Cheese Puffs

This is a recipe which is truly perfect as an appetizer. This will also be great to go along with a cheese fondue.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 ounce-package of softened cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup of Cheese Whiz

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan large enough, you need to combine salt, butter and water. Heat it until it reaches its boiling point.
  2. When boiling, add the flour while stirring the mixture constantly until its texture forms a dough.
  3. Add in the eggs and beat them one at a time until the flour mixture becomes smoother and glossier.
  4. Next, add your Cheese Whiz and softened cream cheese and mix thoroughly until they are all blended enough.
  5. Scoop the dough mixture with a teaspoon into tiny balls and line them up on parchment paper.
  6. Lastly, bake the dough at a temperature of at least 400 degrees for around 15 to 20 minutes. Make sure that each dough is golden brown and puffed before you take them out of the oven.
  7. Serve them while they are still hot.
