How to Make Chicken Wraps

There are many varieties of making chicken wraps, starting from the ingredients, stuffing, then to the accompaniments and serving. There are various chicken wraps and recipes available in the markets or restaurants, like chicken tortilla wraps, Thai chicken wraps, chicken salad wraps, chicken tomato wraps, chicken wraps with cranberry and cucumber, and Szechwan chicken wraps are just to name a few.

Being innovative with an experimental attitude, people come up with new wraps ideas everyday. In fact, there is no end to it. Wraps are generally easy to cook, great to taste, and not so messy. It can be eaten without any cutlery, if in a hurry. Almost any vegetables or meat type can be transformed into a tasteful delicious serving of chicken wraps.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast: 1 each, boneless
  • Garlic: 1 tsp.
  • Butter: 1 tbsp.
  • Colby cheese: 1 cup
  • Salad dressing Caesar: 2 ounce
  • Salad dressing Italian: 4 ounce
  • Tortilla shells: 2 each
  • Salt: 1 tsp.
  • Lettuce: 1 cup
  • Mayonnaise: 4 tbsp.
  • Tomato: 4

Instructions:

  1. Wash and rinse the chicken breasts nicely.
  2. Wash and mince the garlic. Keep the lettuce shredded. Cut the tomato into dices.
  3. Heat butter and add salt and garlic.
  4. Add the chicken to it and cook for a while, turning and cooking for another 3 minutes. Remove it, once done, allow it to cool.
  5. Place the tortilla shells in a microwave for 15-20 seconds.
  6. Once through, remove them out of the microwave and arrange on a piece of waxed paper.
  7. Spread mayonnaise on the lower half part of the tortillas and then places half of the diced tomato and shredded lettuce. Slice the chicken into thin strips and place on the top of the arrange tomatoes and lettuce.
  8. Drizzle the grated Colby to top the chicken. Mix both dressing together separately in a bowl and pour evenly over the cheese topping.
  9. Start rolling the tortilla shells from the bottom and go up.
  10. Roll the deli paper simultaneously at the edges, folding in the sides, over the rolled tortilla.
  11. Just before dishing out, cut each in half or desired no. of pieces.
  12. Serve it with a dipping or sauce readily available, or the one prepared at home.
