So you love chocolate, and absolutely adore chocolate syrup. Then why don’t you make some at home. This way, not only will you be able to devour the syrup when you feel like it, but also save a few bucks in the process.
- ½ cup cocoa
- One cup water
- Two cups sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla
- In a saucepan, mix the cocoa and water together. After you have mixed the two ingredients together, place the saucepan on the gas stove and heat the mixture. Keep stirring till all the cocoa gets dissolved in the water completely.
- Add sugar to the mixture. Stir the contents of the saucepan till the sugar too, dissolves completely. Now add the salt and the vanilla.
- Once all the ingredients are mixed completely, your chocolate syrup is ready. You can either use it immediately or store it in an airtight jar for use later.
