How to Make Gourmet Cupcakes

There are dozens of cupcake shops everywhere. They are simply a delight and gourmet cupcakes are of high demand. Made of decadent ingredients and delicately garnished, you just can’t resist the goodness. But you don’t have to go out from your home to avail of these delicious cupcakes. You can bake them yourself in your very own kitchen. Here is gourmet cupcake recipe that you are sure to love. It is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

Red Velvet Cupcakes:

  • 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Put cupcake paper cups into your cupcake pan. Lightly grease them with butter.
  3. Mix altogether in a large bowl the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
  4. In a separate large bowl, cream butter and sugar using an electric mixer. The butter combination should be light and fluffy. Add in the eggs while continuing to mix. Then also add the red food coloring and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  5. Add the buttermilk and the flour mixture alternately to the creamed butter mixture.
  6. Add the water into now the batter mixture
  7. Mix the vinegar and baking soda in different bowl. Then add the mixture gradually into the batter mixture. Stir until well combined.
  8. Pour the cupcake batter into the cupcake paper cups.
  9. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  10. Let them cool completely before removing them. Add the icing.
