So, if you want something to keep you full, relaxed, and rejuvenated, here’s a soup recipe that will surely delight your palate.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup wild rice, raw and uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (but a garlic powder is much more desirable)

  • 2 carrots, cut into very thin pieces
  • 8-10 cups water
  • 4 ounces mushrooms of any kind
  • 1 boneless chicken cut into cubes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped

Directions:

  2. Add wild rice and boneless cubed chicken to the boiling water over a very low heat. Bring to a simmer for 3 hours to heat through.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with green onions.
