Hard-boiled eggs come in handy in a variety of egg preparations. The process of boiling them is very simple.
1. Take a pot and place the eggs inside it.

2. Now cover the eggs with about an inch of water and cover the pot. Place the pot over a high flame. Bring the water to a rolling boil.
3. Remove the pot from the heat. But do not remove the eggs from inside the pot just yet. Let them remain in water for another 12 minutes or so. After this, pour cold water over the eggs till the time they cool down fully.
4. Crack open your eggs on a hard surface.
