Salmon cakes are very easy to make. With no effort, you can prepare a great salmon cake lunch or an entrée for dinner.
Ingredients:
- One can of salmon, drained
- Two cups bread crumbs
- Two tablespoon butter
- Two eggs, beaten
- ¼ green onions, chopped
- Two teaspoons fresh dill
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- One teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, mix about 1½ cup of bread crumbs, green onion, eggs, dill, pepper, and lemon juice together.
- Now add the canned salmon to this mixture. Make sure that you break the salmon into small pieces while mixing the contents of the bowl.
- With the help of your fingers, make small patties out of the salmon mixture. Keep the patties about ½-inch thick. After all the mixture has been used to make the patties, coat them with the remaining bread crumbs.
- In a skillet, warm some butter and fry the salmon patties for about 4 minutes each. They should turn golden brown in color. You can now serve your salmon cakes.
