How to Make Salmon Cakes

Salmon cakes are very easy to make. With no effort, you can prepare a great salmon cake lunch or an entrée for dinner.

Ingredients:

  • One can of salmon, drained
  • Two cups bread crumbs
  • Two tablespoon butter
  • Two eggs, beaten
  • ¼ green onions, chopped
  • Two teaspoons fresh dill
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • One teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix about 1½ cup of bread crumbs, green onion, eggs, dill, pepper, and lemon juice together.
  2. Now add the canned salmon to this mixture. Make sure that you break the salmon into small pieces while mixing the contents of the bowl.
  3. With the help of your fingers, make small patties out of the salmon mixture. Keep the patties about ½-inch thick. After all the mixture has been used to make the patties, coat them with the remaining bread crumbs.
  4. In a skillet, warm some butter and fry the salmon patties for about 4 minutes each. They should turn golden brown in color. You can now serve your salmon cakes.
