How to Make Salmon Mousse

Salmon mousse is a very popular French recipe. The recipe given below makes use of the leftover smoked salmon inside your refrigerator. Follow this easy recipe and enjoy a great dish!

Ingredients:

  • One can of red salmon
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • Six ounces sour cream
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Parsley

Instructions:

  1. First, drain the salmon and remove its skin. Then de-bone the fish.
  2. In a food processor, mix the salmon, cream cheese and lemon juice, and pulse it together. Mix the ingredients till it becomes a smooth paste.
  3. Place this mixture in a bowl and set it aside. Then cover the mixture with sour cream.
  4. Place the bowl inside the refrigerator and allow the mixture to set. You can serve the salmon mousse along with unsalted crackers.
